Tuesday's Thought...

You know you're a writer when. . .

You know you're a writer when you own more books than shoes.

Your turn.

  1. Oh, that's me!

    How about...
You know you're a writer when you spend more time with fictional characters than living, breathing people.

  2. You know you're a writer when you have no choice about whether or not to quit.

And, I am the only girl I know who HATES shoe shopping. If I could just wear flip-flops or sneakers everywhere I'd be happy. So, yeah--I definitely own more books than shoes. :)

  3. I own a lot of both! What does that make me?

  4. I did a blog post on this! http://bethanymyers.blogspot.ca/2012/04/you-know-youre-writer-when.html

When you see a gorgeous dress in a magazine, you picture your MC wearing it for her BIG DATE.

Love the shoes one, that's golden.

    1. OH MY!! Loved All of your "you know you're a writer when." I can relate to all of them. My favorite is #7 When you see a guy at your local coffee shop who looks exactly like your novel's heart-throb, it totally freaks you out.

I didn't see my novel's heart-throb at a coffee shop, but I did see both of my male leads in a picture together (on Pandora--they play the cello) and I about had a heart attack!! I wanted to call someone--anyone--and have them look up the pic online...but then I realized no one had read my ms yet. Needless to say, it was a very exciting and very disappointing moment for me. haha
